Levels follow the CEFR — the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the global standard for describing language ability. Every level includes grammar, guided speaking practice, exam preparation, and a full course book — taught by dedicated instructors, live online.

Getting your footing
You're starting from zero, and that's exactly where this level meets you. You'll learn to introduce yourself, greet people appropriately, and ask basic questions about names, where someone's from, and what they do. You'll build working vocabulary for everyday essentials — numbers, time, food, family — and get comfortable with the sound and rhythm of German. Grammar stays simple: present tense, basic word order, and the articles that trip up most beginners. By the end, you'll handle a slow, simple conversation as long as the other person meets you halfway.

The Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan is the recognized certifying authority for German worldwide, and we prepare you thoroughly for their exams at every level. You'll also receive a MultiLingo Global certificate from our own institute on completing each level.
Yes — our classes are live and interactive, in small groups, with the same grammar, speaking, and exam-prep structure as any classroom course, minus the commute.
We run weekday and weekend batches across different time slots, so you can pick a schedule that fits around college, work, or other commitments.
